As you might imagine, I went through all the same rotten emotions that every other Cleveland Browns fan went through when the team announced it had signed Kareem Hunt. I was baffled. I was mad. I was disgusted. I was intrigued. I was disgusted again.
I started thinking about Colin Kaepernick. How in the world can players who commit violent acts off the field keep getting jobs and Kaepernick keeps sitting out for silently kneeling?

Why did the Browns do it? That seems a reasonable question. Why did the Cleveland Browns, after what turned out to be such a feel-good season, after they hired an exciting young coach, at the beginning of what looks to be a renaissance, sign Kareem Hunt … this just two months after that video emerged of him shoving and kicking a woman?
Look at the facts. The Kansas City Chiefs just released the guy — and you can only guess how bad things were beyond the video…
